May 5: grad day duties



Kendo: more home suburi. I feel as if I'm making some progress on my footwork, extending my feet out and back with large men strikes. My thinking here is that, if I'm able to get larger strides firmly embedded in my muscle memory for large men, this will eventually improve my footwork with small men, and in competition. I've managed to work fumikomi drills consistently into my routine, as well, so I think I'm doing good work here.

Running: 4 miles. Today is graduation day at AU, so I could only manage a few miles around Little Dog as the sun rose this morning.
