April 28: morning suburi


Kendo: I actually found time for suburi very early in the morning, which is rather unusual. I worked in a full practice session, focusing primarily on two things: extending my footwork and proper tenouchi. Since it was very early, I (again) couldn't do anything involving fumikomi or a lot of noise, for fear of waking the family-sort of a silent suburi, I suppose.

Running: 4 miles (9.1). At the other end of the spectrum, I wasn't able to run until late in the evening, which of course meant time on the basement treadmill.
